Planning your first visit and want to know what to expect? We're glad you found this page. Below are some answers to questions we receive from time to time regarding a typical Sunday at Providence.
- What is it like?
- Providence has a rich history in Shawboro, and is a traditional church atmosphere with a traditional form of worship. We worship through the singing of hymns and the teaching of God's Word. We are excitred to see new people with us as we aim to reach our community for Jesus.
- What about my kids?
- Kids are welcome to worship with their parents throughout the service. We offer a children's church time for Pre-K - 3rd grade after Mr. Sonny's Time during the service. During Mr. Sonny's Time, the children are welcome to come down front for a time of teaching from one of our many volunteers. After services, parents can pick up their children in the children's hallway.
- Where do I park?
- Anywhere you like. We have parking available on both sides of the buidling. If overflow parking is needed, feel free to park in the field behind the church.
- What do I wear?
- Whatever makes your comfortable. We have members who dress formal and informal. Be comfortable while with us.
- How can I get connected?
- Connection happens through our Sunday School hour that meets Sunday's at 10:00am throughout the church. We have classes for Nursery - Senior Adults. Classes are open to everyone to attend.
