During    this    TIme    of     uncertainty, how     will     you connect?

COVID has effected us all a little different and because of that we all have varying comfort level when it comes to social interactions. Because we want to keep everyone's safety in mind we have established three ways to gather as a church family.
We encourage you to choose whichever gathering method that is best for you and your family.

In Person Gathering

Who are the In Person Gatherings for?
In-person gatherings are for  individuals of all ages who are ready and able to gather for a socially distanced worship service inside the church.

At Home

Who are the at Home Gatherings for?
At home gatherings are for family members who, for whatever reason, are unable to or feel more comfortable to not gather with others outside of their homes.

Parking Lot Gathering

Who are the parking lot Gatherings for?
Parking Lot Gatherings are for families who wish to have semi social interactions and listen to the Sunday message from the safety of their car.

Even if you see more face masks (and a lot more hand sanitizer), when we gather together again in-person, we hope it will feel like coming home

Precautions We Are Taking for In-Person Gatherings

~ We are limiting services to 50% capacity.
~ Entrance to service will be from the front of the Church only.
~ Area between Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall will be closed to through traffic.
~ Offerings will be collected in containers at the back of the church, or in buckets on the way out of the parking lot.
~ Bathroom access is limited to 1-2 individuals at a time (and we are disinfecting restrooms often).
~ The wearing of masks are strongly recommended. Hand sanitizer will be provided at the doors.
~ All attendees are asked to self-screen before attending. Anyone experiencing fever, cough, or other COVID-19 symptoms should not attend.
~ After every service, we have the sanctuary cleaned and sanitized before any other activities are held at the church.

When will full gatherings and other activities resume?

Everything hinges on the health of our community and the CDC’s recommendations. We have to be more cautious about how we reopen due to the age of our congregation, so we’re starting with limited socially-distanced gatherings and hope to return to our full gatherings and normal weekly schedule as soon as we feel it is safe.

Will regular activities look different when they return?

While we expect our in-person gatherings to feel the same once we fully reopen, like the rest of society, we expect that the way we interact with each other will look a little different for a while. We’re going to continue to modify the parts of our services that required physical contact before (such as passing out bulletins, offering plates and greeting each other with handshakes), and we’re doing everything we can to keep our facilities clean and safe.

What will Children's Ministry look like?

As we are trying to limit foot traffic through the building, please see below the logistics of what our Children’s Ministry will look like.
~ Drop off will be done using a carpool lane that will be set up in the Sligo parking lot. Children grade 5 and below  are to be dropped off at the door to the children’s wing.  Parents are then asked to drive around to the Shawboro side parking lot to park.
~ Drop off will be from 9:45.
~ Pick up will also be done through the carpool line which will be reversed.
~ Kindly do not allow any toys, snacks or drinks to be brought in. Diaper bags are allowed.
