Children's Sunday School
It is our desire to have a room that is environmentally safe and clean; to establish an atmosphere of love and laughter for young children so they may experience the love of Christ from the volunteers caring for them; to give parents confidence (as best we can on our end) that their precious children are being cared for by loving and trustworthy caregivers and volunteers.
Birth - 17 Months
Volunteers provide a loving first church experience in the nursery. Parents can drop off children for Sunday School at 10:00am or before the Worship Service begins at 11:00am.
18mo - 3 Years
Age appropriate lessons & activities are provided during the Sunday School hour. Parents who feel their child is ready for a short visit to "Big Church" may pick them up and take them into the worship service for Mr. Sonny's time. Volunteers will return the children to their class for the remainder of the service. For children who are not quite ready, volunteers will remain in the class during the entire worship hour.
4 Years- Kindergarten
An age appropriate lesson & activities are provided during the Sunday School hour at 10am. During the Worship Service we invite our preschoolers down front for Mr. Sonny's time. This is a short children's sermon that is a weekly part of our service. Afterwards children are taken back to their class for a small snack & playtime.
1st - 5th Graders
